Kartik Purnima, Ganga Snan on November 12, 2019 This is an auspicious day, when lord Shiva's son, god of war, Kartikeya was born. Devotees take a holy dip in river Ganga on Kartik Purnima at Haridwar, Varanasi and Prayag mainly and otherwise to their nearby banks of Ganga or it's tributaries. After dip, offer water to sun god, prayer and worship god, aarti, havan and in last charity to needy. These acts provide more virtue (Punya) than 10 yajnas. Great day for devotees of Hindu society.
